Business Center
In order to show a competitive Mexico open to investment, ProMéxico, the coordinating institution for national participation in this world encounter, will install a business center in the Mexican enclosure that will seek to promote investment and business projects between Mexico and the Asian continent.
The business center will be located to one side of the Mexican pavilion and will have areas for receiving businesspeople, investors and institutions from all over the world -especially China and the Asian countries- who are interested in doing business with our country. ProMéxico will also organize business and investment dissemination missions in which it will promote the sectors of greatest interest to Chinese investors, such as auto parts, mining, infrastructure, renewable energy and energy efficiency.
The Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources (SEMARNAT) confirmed that it will be participating in the Mexican pavilion, from May 31 to June 6, with an exhibit on the environment. The General Mines Coordination also confirmed its participation with a thematic event and an investment and trade mission program that will take place from June 7 to 13. The Ministry of Communications and Transportation (SCT) will be participating with an exhibit on infrastructure from August 2 to 6, 2010.
