Cultural Program

The Expo’s organizers set up 33 stages to present 20,000 shows during the event. There are seven stages for concerts, musicals or ballet presentations and 26 outdoor stages for runways, street performances and expressions of folk art.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE) is the federal government’s entity in charge of Mexico’s cultural program. This program includes important samples of Mexico’s wide scenic arts heritage, namely dance, music and theater.

“Mexico’s Day” will be celebrated on September 16, 2010, with the purpose of celebrating it with the Bicentennial of the Independence Movement and the Centennial of the Mexican Revolution. We are planning an important cultural program with activities that will be broadcast in every screen in the expo’s facilities.
